Just left school and struggling with the next steps? University not for you? Finding it difficult finding a job?

There are many reasons why people may be looking for the opportunity that an Apprenticeship and a Traineeship provides.

If you are aged between 16 – 24, Apprenticeships and Traineeship schemes are a perfect route to taking the next step, or the first step, in your career.

There are many young people that don’t think an apprenticeship or a traineeship will suit them – but with the vast range of industries and employers working with the CLC, and new vacancies added each week, it’s likely that there’s something out there that will suit your career goals.

  • Aged between 16-24?
  • Not staying at school or further education?
  • Not in any type of training?
  • Unemployed or not sure what path to take?

Then a Traineeship may suit you.

Apprenticeships (Level 2):

  • Aged over 16 and know the area of work you are looking for?
  • Already employed and want to up skill within your chosen field?

Then an Apprenticeship may suit you.

Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3):

  • Completed your Apprenticeship and looking for the next level of learning?
  • Does your Job role require a higher level of skills and knowledge?

Then the Advanced Apprenticeship may suit you.

Higher Apprenticeship (Level 5):

  • Are you a Deputy looking at becoming a Manager?
  • Are you a Manager with your level 4 or RMA and require the next level of learning?

Then the Higher Apprenticeship may suit you.

What about if your current job role requires more qualifications to reach that next step? An Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 5) is the next level and can help you reach managerial positions and promotions.
